If you feel that the world is evolving too fast these days, technology driven rapid changes, uncertainty, terror, unrest and crime, come to our village in the Pyrenees for the Christmas and New Year holidays, it will be like travelling back in time. 
The setting is peaceful, romantic and very scenic. The air is pure, the water is clean and there is no crime. There are modern conveniences, but there is a striking difference between our region and most parts of the western world. Our area is full of history, still fairly unspoilt and the ideal place to celebrate the festive season.
Choose your own pace and itinerary, or a pre-planned self-drive package. You can visit medieval mountain villages, which have not changed much for centuries, visit fortresses, castles and fortified villages. Travel further back in time and visit spectacular caves - remains of the first man in Europe, 450,000 years ago, was found in one of these (The prehistoric museum in Tautavel). You can get an impression of where the Romans, the Kathars, the Moors and the Iberians lived, and enjoy the tasty medieval food flavoured with herbs, accompanied by smooth local red wine without modern additives, as well as the excellent local Catalan cuisine.

Includes pre-heating and 100 KW of electricity per house. Excluding additional electric heating, firewood, water usage and tourist tax (details in the price list)
You can start and end your stay any weekday. Minimum 1 week rate applies for shorter stays. Extra days at proportional rate.
