What a great Christmas week we’ve had at the Village Catalan! We never emagined that we would enjoy our Christmas away from our home so much. The views from our house were marvellous tonic, and we are leaving refreshed. Also, thanks for your many kindnesses, Eric. Above, Christmas Day at your lovely home was an unforgettable experience, a real nightlight of our two a half month sabbatical trip. We hope to return to Le Village Catalan before too long. And we look forward to seeing you then.

We spent a lovely week here in this beautiful location, the nicest place we’ve stayed in France. The views are marvellous, and the house is perfectly situated. We would love to come back again and stay in the summer. I would recommend a visit to Vernet-les-Bains to anyone "themkey" of country to this region of France. And best wishes to Erik and Anette

Thank you for all your hospitality during our stay at the village. The accommodations were comfortable and friendly and the surrounding countryside spectacularly. We especially enjoyed spending time in a village in another country and getting to see how people live. We also appreciated your recommendations, Le Temps des Cesises was a wonderful meal at a very reasonable price. The caves were a pleasant surprise. We have seen limestone caves all over the world. These were among the most spectacular formations we’ve seen, but the light and music show was unparalleled in its choreography. We loved it. Again there was good value. Our best memories, however, will be of the two of you end the dogs. Thank you again. Keep in touch on-line.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Scenery and the village made a beautiful setting to relax in. The views from the house were outstanding. While the house has a rustic charm the bathroom and while paint on the floors detracted from the overall appeal. Look forward to visiting in the future.

Beautiful situation, lovely views - we enjoyed eating and drinking on our terrace while the sun set over Vernet-les-Bains. We greatly enjoyed walking in the area - the Cascade des Anglais walk was a good starter, and great fun.The higher areas around Martet and Col de Portes ( with its lake(s)) were beautiful - the wild flowers and the fresh air were fantastic. A bath in the hot springs pool. (open air) at St. Thomas les Bains can be recommended. As for mirror details - a shower curtain might be a good idea!

We have really enjoyed our stay here. The swimmingpool was great and kept the child quiet! The views are fantastic, amazing sunsets and ever changing light across the hills. The hot bricks of the terrace are so warm to your bare feet; the other guests were friendly and the atmosphere is peaceful and congenial.
I have found this to be a very relaxing week with a nice nature of culture. We went to the Carsade, th abbeys at St. Martin + St. Michael and had lot og time for swimming and relaxing. The bath and light are fantastic + would love to visit Village Catalan again.

I found there were lots of fun activities. I liked the animals at the park and I thought the eagles were amazing. (Eilidh 8 years old)

We have greatly enjoyed our summer holiday two week break in the Village Catalan. The Catalan weather has been excellent, and Vernet-les-Bains has been a perfect centre for our many excursions. These have included a memorable jeep trip up towards the Pic du Canigou, a windy day in Carcasonne, a lovely cheap shopping trip to Andorra! And many fine meals in the local restaurants.
Our house "Argila" has been very spacious, with excellent views of the village and surroundings mountains, some of which we have climbed during our stay. We have enjoyed meeting many people from others countries especially the boule evening and trip to the Bastille celebrational fireworks at Port Vendres. Hope to return soon to Vernet as our holiday has been so relaxing and enjoyable!
